REMEDIAL COACHING SCHEME
The ‘Remedial Coaching Scheme’ at our college is a dedicated initiative aimed at providing academic support to slow-learners, and weak students who may need additional guidance to achieve their full potential. This programme is designed to strengthen foundational knowledge, enhance learning skills, and improve academic performance, particularly for those from underprivileged backgrounds or those struggling with specific subjects. By creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, the scheme aspires to bridge academic gaps and empower students to excel in their studies.
Plan of Action
- Categorizing the students in a class into slow and advanced learners based on previous scores.
- Identifying the key subjects/papers in the prescribed programmes/ courses.
- Preparing a time-table/ schedule for remedial coaching sessions.
- Duration of the remedial coaching shall be TWO months in each semester.
- Conducting periodical unit tests, and class assignments, assessing and correcting the students.
- Performance and progression to be discussed with the Guardian Teacher
- Organising contact sessions for the ATKT students in respective subjects as per the ‘Plan of Contact sessions

- Subject-Specific Tutorials: Organize extra classes for key subjects where students face the most difficulties.
- Individualized Attention: Provide personalized guidance to address unique academic challenges faced by students.
- Regular Assessment and Feedback: Conduct periodic assessments to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Learning Resources and Materials: Offer study materials, practice worksheets, and access to reference resources tailored to the needs of students.
- Skill Development Workshops: Conduct workshops on study techniques, time management, and problem-solving skills to enhance overall learning efficiency.
