The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a pivotal component of the higher education system at PSK College, Deur, aimed at fostering a quality culture. It ensures the consistent and catalytic improvement of academic and administrative performance through strategic planning and systematic implementation. The IQAC develops mechanisms to promote efficient practices, encourage innovative teaching and research, and ensure the effective deployment of resources. Its efforts aim to enhance the overall institutional excellence and sustain the quality of education provided to students.

IQAC formulates quality assurance strategies, including formulating yearly IQAS, incorporating benchmarking, setting goals to be achieved during the year and facilitating the preparation of the Academic Calendar. Moreover, monitoring regular meetings of the statutory committees, following PBAS, Feedback, automation, organizing seminars/ conferences based on cross-cutting issues of national importance, organizing social awareness programmes, and conducting programmes under ISR have been done. Monitoring MIS and LMS, conducting SIP, AAA, NIRF, AISHE, ISO, and the timely submission of AQAR is IQAC’s contribution to institutionalizing quality assurance strategies and processes.

The institute has evolved a comprehensive mechanism, academic and administrative audit procedures and practices to review and document periodically the teaching-learning process, structure, and methodology, to take mid-term corrective steps through IQAC to ascertain its efficacy and continuous improvement in learning outcomes.

IQAC also supports:

1. Improvement in quality of teaching and research by regular inputs to all concerned based on feedback from students.
2. Providing inputs for best practices in administration for efficient resource utilization and better services to students and staff.
3. Providing inputs for Academic and Administrative audits and analysis of results for improvement in areas found weak.
