Research & Development

The Research & Development Cell (RDC) at college is established for fostering a robust research culture among faculty and students. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the RDC serves as a catalyst for innovation, facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations and promoting cutting-edge research in emerging areas of science, humanities, and commerce. By providing essential resources and infrastructure, the RDC empowers researchers to contribute significantly to societal advancement and technological progress regulations.

  • Promote Research Excellence:
    • Strive for excellence by providing resources, infrastructure, and support to researchers, enabling them to pursue innovative projects.
  • Encourage Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
    • Foster collaboration across various disciplines to address complex challenges and explore new avenues of innovation.

    • Establish an efficient research governance mechanism to create a conducive research environment.
  • Administration:
    • Support institutional research by integrating multiple functional units under a single-window operational system for effective administration.
  • Research Ecosystem Development:
    • Build a research ecosystem through effective collaboration and strategic partnerships, offering a meaningful thrust for sustainable research and innovation.
  • Information Management:
    • Create a Research Information Management System (RIMS) to collect and manage research-oriented information, share publications, and manage research projects and fellowships.
  • Human Resource Development:
    • Create a talent pool of motivated individuals to drive the research efforts of the institution.
  • Research Promotion and Guidance:
    • Encourage faculty to promote better research in their fields through guidance, industry-academia interactions, and preparation of detailed research proposals for funding.
  • Integrity and Ethics:
    • Conduct regular initiatives to ensure that researchers understand the importance of integrity and ethics in research.
  • Capacity Building:
    • Play a vital role in building research capacity so that faculty and students can undertake research problems aligned with the latest advancements and contribute to technological developments relevant to societal needs.
  • Research Monitoring:
    • Monitor and oversee research progress, manage and optimize research resources, and conduct timely reviews to help complete projects as per schedule.

    Through these objectives and functions, the RDC aims to position our college as a leading institution in research and innovation, contributing to national development and the global knowledge economy.
