About Prof. Sambhajirao Kadam College, Deur
Established in 1999, Shri Mudhai Devi Shikshan Santha’s Prof. Sambhajirao Kadam College, Deur (Satara, MS) is an ‘A’ Grade College by NAAC. The College is located in the hilly and drought-prone northern part of Koregaon Tahsil with students from 30-40 villages in the vicinity. The peculiar student demographic feature is that the girl’s enrollment outnumbers that of boys by the ratio of 2:1. Owing to this, the college has been giving the highest priority to providing a safe and secure environment to its girl students on campus.
The college offers degree programmes in the faculties of Humanities (Arts), Commerce & Management and Science & Technology. Besides conventional degree programmes, it offers skill-based vocational degree programmes (B.Voc) in Food Processing Technology, Horticulture and Floriculture; and Diplomas in Food Processing and Preservation, Beauty and Wellness under the Community College Scheme of UGC.
