Admission Process & Rules

The Principal of the college, in his authority, has constituted the Admission Committee and the B.C. Cell. These committees scrutinize the application forms of the students as per the rules, regulations, and norms as laid down by the University and the State Government. Then a list of eligible students is prepared for the convenience of the students and their parents. It is displayed on the students’ notice board. A time limit is also given to the selected students, if they wish to change the subjects / subject groups. After this, the admission details of various classes are sent to the University and Government. In this way the institution tries to ensure transparency in the admission process.

  • Prospectus

The prospectus of the institution plays a vital role to ensure wide admission publicity. The prospectus, containing rules and regulations laid down by the State Government and University, the procedure of selection, fee structure, subject groups, reservation criteria, scholarships and freeships, programmes etc, is printed in advance and made available to the students through the college office.

  • Advertisement in Regional / National Newspapers

The advertisement regarding admission is flashed in regional newspapers well in advance.

  • The eligibility fee for the students outside Maharashtra is Rs 150/- The Admission is finalized after the approval of the University. The students should fill in this form at the time of admission.
  • The B.A Part II passed students from other colleges who belong Shivaji University need not pay the eligibility fees. They are required to filling Admission Form along with Rs 50/ . These forms are sent to his previous college. The students have to pay the all fees in case of cancellation of the admission in first or second term.
  • B.A. & B. Com. 1

H.S.C. or equivalent exam passed students or equivalent exam passed approved by Shivaji University and D. Ed. passed students are admissible for this class.

  • B.A. & B. Com. 2 & 3

The students who have passed B.A. 1 exam or who have ATKT are eligible for B.A. 2. The students who have passed B.A. 1 & B.A 2 exams and who have passed B.A. 1 exam and ATKT at B.A. 2 are eligible for the B.A. 3.

  • The students from other approved Universities of Maharashtra & having completed B.A.1 & B.A. 2 are admissible in the college.
