INFRASTRUCTURE
BIO-GAS PLANT

We have installed an innovative biogas plant on campus, exemplifying our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. This state-of-the-art facility efficiently converts organic waste from our kitchens and gardens into renewable energy through anaerobic digestion. By processing organic materials in the absence of oxygen, the plant produces biogas- a combustible mixture primarily composed of methane and carbon dioxide—which is utilized for various energy needs within the campus. This initiative not only reduces our reliance on conventional energy sources but also significantly minimizes waste, contributing to a cleaner and greener environment.
This project underscores our dedication to environmental responsibility and offers a practical solution for waste-to-energy conversion, aligning with global efforts to promote renewable energy and sustainability.
