FOOD PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY LAB

The Food Processing Technology Lab at our senior college is a facility constructed to provide hands-on training and research opportunities in the field of food science and technology. Equipped with modern processing equipment and quality testing instruments, the lab serves as a hub for students to gain practical insights into food preservation, processing techniques, and value addition. Through this lab, we aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial applications, fostering innovation and skill development in the food sector.
Objectives
The main objectives of Food Processing Tech. Lab are as follows:
- To provide practical exposure to various food processing and preservation techniques.
- To develop students’ skills in quality analysis and food safety standards.
- To encourage research and innovation in food product development.
- To enhance knowledge of food packaging, storage, and shelf-life assessment.
- To promote entrepreneurship in the food industry through hands-on training.
- To support industry-academia collaboration for knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
