‘Unity and Discipline’
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the Indian military cadet corps with its head Quarters at New Delhi. It is a premier youth organization in India that operates under the Ministry of Defence. It was established in India during the year 1948 and since then, it remains open on voluntary basis for both college and school students of the country. Air Force, Army and Indian Navy are three groups which are involved in grooming of the country’s youth into patriotic, responsible and well-disciplined citizens. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.
