PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
The Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs) under the B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. degree may be listed as follows:
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Marathi
The PSOs enable students to develop aptitude in Marathi along with the subfields, especially written and spoken. Learners also develop abilities in correspondence and communication.
Students get acquainted with the basic and advanced theories and literary movements in Marathi Literature and know all forms of literature (especially Kavita, Natak, Kadambari, and Laghu Katha). They also know prominent Marathi Authors, their literature, their regions, and their culture in Maharashtra. Students also inculcate human values through the study of Marathi Literature.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hindi
Students are enabled to develop academic proficiency in the subfields of Hindi Sahitya and Hindi Language, Prayojanmulak Hindi, Anuvad, Jansanchar Madhyam, Source Language and Target Language, Madhyayugin and Adhunik Hindi Sahitya, Hindi Sahitya ka Etihas, Kavyashastra in a global context.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) English
The PSOs enable students to develop proficiency in literary English and subfields, especially written and spoken. Learners also develop abilities in correspondence and communication. They get acquainted with the basic and advanced theories of and literary movements in English Literature and know all forms of literature (especially Poetry, Drama, Novels, and Short Stories). They also know prominent English Authors, their literature, their country, and their culture. Students also inculcate human values through the study of Literature.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Economics
The PSOs enable students to develop proficiency in Economics. Upon completion of the B.A. in Economics special students will be able to understand and acquire the basic themes, concepts, theories, and scope of the Indian Economy. Learners also develop abilities in Business & Commercial strategies. Students are also aware of advanced theories in Economics. They also know prominent economists, Business tycoons & Theorists, their contributions towards society and their country. Students also inculcate human values through the study of Economics. Students prepare for various types of competitive Examinations like Banking, GDC&A. Critically recognize the economic, social, political and cultural aspects of Economics.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) History
Upon completion of the B.A. in History special students will be able to understand the basic themes, concepts, chronology and scope of Indian History and understand the history of countries other than India with a comparative approach. Students Prepare for various types of competitive Examinations. Critically recognize the social, political, economic and cultural aspects of History.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Sociology
Students can develop academic proficiency in the Meaning of Sociology, Theoretical Approaches to Sociology, Social Change in Modern Society, Indian Social Problems, Social Movements, and the Application of Sociology. They can also analyze social problems and understand government policy in a global context.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Political Science
Students are enabled to develop academic proficiency in the subfields of Indian Government and Politics, Indian Constitution, Indian Political Thought, Local Self-Government, International Relations, Public Administration, Political Theory, and Political Processes in India. They can analyze political and policy problems and understand government and politics in a global context.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Geography
The learning outcome is to prepare the students for a B.A./ B.Sc. degree in Geography, to understand the development of the subject and to delve into issues suited to the needs of the contemporary world. It covers a wide range of papers covering various themes and maintains uniformity of structure across universities in the country. Geography being interdisciplinary integrates learning derived from all basic and applied sciences/social sciences. The Learning Outcome-based Curriculum framework is designed around CBCS, and it is intended to provide greater opportunity and employability along with in-depth knowledge of the discipline. By the end of the completion of the programme, the students will be equipped to pursue further their interest in the subject.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Commerce
The PSOs enable students to develop proficiency in Commerce and subfields, especially Accountancy, Management, Insurance, Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Cooperative Development and Business Regulatory Framework. Learners also develop abilities in the Business & Commercial approach. They get acquainted with the basic concepts and advanced theories in Commerce and know all theories of various subjects and branches of Commerce. They also know prominent Business tycoons & Theorists, and their contributions towards society, and their country. Students also inculcate Business & Commercial views & human values through the study of Commerce.

Certificate Course and Diploma in Food Processing and Preservation (Under UGC Community College Scheme)
Students utilize knowledge from physical & biological sciences as the basis for understanding the role of Food Processing & Preservation for human safe food consumption. They also prepare and deliver presentations on technical trends in food processing and provide food-related consultancies and education to individuals, groups and societies throughout the life span. They apply technical skills, knowledge of health behaviour, and product development skills when assessing & evaluating the present status of individual food groups. Students implement strategies for food assessment procurement, preparation & food safety for society. The outcome-based curriculum framework is intended to provide greater opportunities & employability along with in-depth knowledge of the discipline. By completing the program students will be equipped to pursue further their interest in the subject.
