ABOUT US
RIGHT TO INFORMATION (RTI)
The Right to Information (RTI) Act of 2005 is a pivotal legislation in India that empowers citizens to access information held by public authorities, thereby promoting transparency and accountability in governmental operations. Under this Act, any individual can request information from a public authority, which is obligated to respond within a specified timeframe. This framework ensures that citizens are well-informed about the activities of public institutions, fostering a more transparent and participatory democracy.
In alignment with the RTI Act, our senior college is committed to upholding the principles of openness and accountability. We have established a structured process to facilitate access to information concerning our administrative and academic functions. By doing so, we aim to keep our stakeholders, including students, parents, and the broader community, well-informed and engaged with the institution’s endeavours.
