Objectives
The primary objectives of the Student’s Alumni Association are:
Promote Social Interaction:
Facilitate networking opportunities among alumni, current students, and faculty to strengthen community bonds.
Support Institutional Development:
Mobilize alumni resources, including leadership, expertise, and financial contributions, to aid the college’s growth and advancement.
Enhance Academic Collaboration:
Encourage partnerships between the college and industry through alumni involvement, enriching the educational environment.
Foster Professional Growth:
Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for students and alumni, leveraging the professional experiences of former graduates.
Preserve College Traditions:
Maintain and promote the heritage and values of the college, ensuring their continuity for future generations.
Functions
To achieve these objectives, the Student’s Alumni Association undertakes the following functions:
Organize Events and Reunions:
Host regular gatherings, such as reunions and networking events, to facilitate interaction and engagement among alumni and students.
Publish Communications:
Disseminate newsletters and updates to keep alumni informed about college developments, achievements, and opportunities for involvement.
Mentorship Programmes:
Establish initiatives where experienced alumni provide guidance and support to current students and recent graduates.
Fundraising Activities:
Coordinate efforts to raise funds for scholarships, infrastructure projects, and other college needs, harnessing the generosity of the alumni community.
Career Services:
Offer resources such as job postings, career fairs, and professional workshops to assist alumni and students in their career progression.
Alumni Database Management:
Maintain an up-to-date directory of alumni to facilitate communication and engagement within the college community.
